Susan Guay

Susan was born and raised in the Sudbury Region where our northern wilderness environment and waterways became a familiar back yard for her to play in. "I owe my passion and desire to be in remote wilderness areas to my father, who inspired me at a very early age. Thanks dad for always wanting a boy, 'God bless your soul'."

Her outdoor qualifications include; ORCKA Director in Basic Canoeing, Canoe Tripping Instructor 2, Canadian Style Paddling Instructor 2 and River Running Instructor 2 as well holds additional certification in Wilderness First Aid CPR C, AED, and Swift Water Technician level 2.

When not in her canoe, Susan takes her spirit and enthusiasm for a healthy life style to the classroom.

Working with our youth from 2 to 82 in classrooms, universities, camps, scouts, churches, hospitals and organizations, she promotes and inspires the benefits of outdoor activities.

"Everyone needs a true wilderness break!"
